The Attributes of God – Grace

W can define grace as such: God’s grace means that God shows goodness towards those who deserve only punishment

The word translated “grace” in the New Testament comes from the Greek word charis, which means “favor, blessing, or kindness.”

So when the word grace is used in connection with God, it means that God chooses to bless us rather than curse us as our sin deserves. It is Him showing benevolence to those who are undeserving. Learn more in the lesson below.
