In Colossians 2:4-5 the Apostle Paul tells the church in Colossae that he has said the things he has, the words of encouragement and the instructions given, in order that no one may delude them with plausible arguments. Nathan Tarrant explains the importance of firming our faith in Christ, as the plausible arguments of today can very easily delude the mind of true Christians. Nathan gives us an example of one false teacher who uses the truth of God’s word to get his listeners to turn from Christ and look at themselves; using plausible arguments, he deludes the mind.
