The Unity That Flows from Christ
In this message from John 17:20–21a, Nathan Tarrant explains how we are invited into the intercessory heart of Christ as He prays not only for His apostles, but for all who will believe in Him through their word. We see that the unity of the church is not a human achievement but a divine gift—flowing from our union with the Son and rooted in the eternal communion of the triune God. This unity is spiritual, covenantal, and secured by the glory of Christ. It is the fruit of the Word, applied by the Spirit, and shared by all who are in Christ. As we consider the depth of this prayer, we are reminded that our oneness as believers is a supernatural reality, already accomplished in Christ, and now to be treasured, displayed, and lived out in the fellowship of the church.
