Protected From The Evil One
In this message from John 17:12–15, Nathan Tarrant explains how we see the heart of Christ as He prays for the perseverance of His disciples. Though they remain in a hostile world, Jesus does not ask for their removal but for their preservation — that they may be kept from the evil one and filled with His own joy. Through His perfect obedience, sacrificial death, and ongoing intercession, our Lord secures His people eternally. We are not of the world, but we are sent into it — guarded by the Father, upheld by the Son, and strengthened by the Spirit. In a world of hatred and spiritual warfare, this passage assures us: we are kept by Christ.
