Jesus Is God
In John 10:30, Jesus explains that he and the Father are one—in other words, that he is God. Nathan Tarrant explains how verse 30 shows the oneness nature of the Trinity, as opposed to the heretical view of modalism, and how verse 36 describes the three persons of the Godhead, also known as the economic aspect of the Trinity. Furthermore, because Jesus is God, it is important to know who exactly went to the cross, and how we can have the full assurance of the promises of the cross and the gospel.
