John 19v6-11

The Fear of Pilate & The Son of God

In this message, we witness the world’s rage and heaven’s rule as Jesus stands before Pilate, the Son of God condemned by the power He Himself ordained. The governor trembles before the silent Christ, unaware that his authority is borrowed “from above.” Through this scene, Nathan Tarrant explains how we see the sovereignty of God in the midst of human sin, the obedience of Christ under unjust judgment, and the mercy that flows from His submission. The One who stood silent before man now speaks peace to all who bow before Him. Behold the Man—and rest in His reign.
